I am fairly new at painting mys...Really great idea. I am fairly new at painting myself, but have seen some use some basic craft paint mixed with water (1 part paint to 4 parts or something) and then wipe off the paint. I found a product at Home Depot by Martha Stewart that is a glaze and have used that for a few of my redo projects. I am quite pleased with the result.
